The Green Bazaar Shopping Center Project will be realized by the partnership of GINTAS GROUP with the MUNICIPALITY of
PODGORICA - Public Utility "Municipal Services" in the capital city Podgorica / Republic of MONTENEGRO. The
Project is
located in the center of Podgorica, using the land of the existing Velica Pijaca, one of the oldest and most
popular public markets of the city.
The Project will consist of underground parking, storage spaces, a two-storey modern market designed for food and
non-food goods, a large hypermarket, a shopping center, office premises besides
entertainment and recreational spaces including
cafes, restaurants and cinemas. It also includes open spaces
as
a square, atriums and terraces.
The land, provided by the local partner is 22 373 m2, while total construction area being 58 484 m2. The construction cost of
the Project will be around of 23 M €, representing the GINTAS investment
and the total project cost including the local
contribution will be up to 36 M €.
The Project is expected to be realized in 30 months. The first phase consisting of the New Green Bazaar will be completed in
the first 12 months, to allow the transfer of existing market.
